Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

INGRIDIENTS

  • 1 3/4 cùps floùr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 TBSP vanilla
  • 3/4 cùp bùtter, softened
  • 1 cùp sùgar
  • 1 cùp chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan.

In a bowl, whisk together floùr and salt. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, beat bùtter and sùgar ùntil flùffy. Approx 5 minùtes.

Slowly, add in eggs, yolks and vanilla. Beat ùntil flùffy. Approx another 3 minùtes.

Gradùally, add in floùr.  Beat on low, jùst ùntil fùlly combined.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 60 minùtes or ùntil toothpick inserted comes oùt clean

Let cake cool for 20-30 minùtes before removing from pan.
