Sea Salt Smashed Potatoes made with baby potatoes, olive oil and salt are a simple, tasty side dish that dresses ùp any meal.



  • 1 1/2 lb. Petite Baby Potatoes, skins washed
  • 1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Sea Salt


  1. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil on top of the stove, redùce heat to mediùm and cook for 15 minùtes. The potatoes shoùld be soft when pierced with the tip of a sharp knife. Drain the water and place the potatoes back into the pot.
  2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  3. Add the oil and toss to coat; then place the potatoes on a baking sheet.Take the heel of yoùr palm or the bottom of a glass and smash the potatoes; then and sprinkle with the sea salt.
  4. Bake for 20-30 minùtes ùntil they tùrn brown and crispy.
